What is ClipCard Pro?

ClipCard Pro is an iOS app designed to securely store and manage sensitive information. It works as a personal vault where you can save important data and quickly access it when needed.

What types of data can I store?

You can store five types of information:

• Credit/debit cards - Card numbers with OCR scanning
• Crypto wallets - Cryptocurrency addresses
• Phone numbers - Important contacts
• URLs - Links and web addresses
• Free text - Any other information you need to save

What iOS version do I need?

ClipCard Pro requires iOS 17 or later. This allows us to use Apple's latest security and privacy technologies.

When will it be available?

ClipCard Pro is currently in development. Stay tuned for updates on the release date.

Features

How does OCR card scanning work?

Using your iPhone's camera, ClipCard Pro can automatically recognize and capture your credit or debit card numbers. OCR processing is done entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Images are never sent to external servers or stored.

How does iCloud sync work?

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is saved to your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This allows you to access your information from all your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad). Data is protected with Apple's end-to-end encryption. You can disable this feature anytime from the app settings.

How do I copy information quickly?

With the "One-Tap Copy" feature, simply tap the item you want to copy and it will be automatically added to your clipboard, ready to paste wherever you need it.

Can I organize my data?

Yes. ClipCard Pro includes drag and drop functionality that allows you to rearrange your clips in any order you prefer.

Security & Privacy

Is my data secure?

Yes. ClipCard Pro implements multiple layers of security:

• All data is encrypted at rest using iOS Data Protection
• Biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) or passcode is required to access the app
• iCloud data is protected with Apple's end-to-end encryption
• No data transmission to external servers

Do you have access to my information?

No. We do not have access to your data. We cannot read, decrypt, or recover your stored information. Your data is stored only on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud account.

How does Face ID/Touch ID work?

Biometric authentication is handled entirely by iOS. ClipCard Pro only receives a success or failure response from the system. We never access or store your biometric data.

What happens to OCR scanner images?

Images captured by the scanner are processed entirely on your device and discarded immediately after extracting the card number. They are not stored or transmitted to any server.

What data do you collect about me?

We do not collect your sensitive data (cards, wallets, etc.). Optionally, we may collect anonymized crash reports and basic feature usage analytics (not content) to improve the app. You can disable analytics in settings.

Data Management

How do I delete my data?

You have several options:

• Delete individual items directly from the app
• Delete all data from the app settings
• Uninstall the app to remove all local data

Can I use the app without iCloud?

Yes. iCloud sync is optional. You can keep all your data on your device only by disabling sync in the app settings.
