AI Processing

PhraseAI uses OpenAI's API to generate phrases. When you request a phrase:

  • Your selected tone and language are sent to OpenAI
  • No personal information is included in AI requests
  • Generated content is not used to train AI models

Community Features

When you publish a phrase to the Discover Feed:

  • The phrase becomes publicly visible to all users
  • Your anonymous profile may be associated with the phrase
  • Other users can like and save your phrases
  • You can delete your published phrases at any time

Data Storage

  • Local data - Stored on your device using iOS secure storage
  • Cloud data - Community content stored on Supabase (secure cloud infrastructure)
  • iCloud sync - Premium users can sync across devices via Apple's iCloud

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • OpenAI - AI phrase generation
  • Supabase - Backend and database
  • Apple Push Notifications - Notifications (Premium)
  • RevenueCat - Subscription management

Data Retention

  • Local phrases are retained until you delete them
  • Published phrases remain until you delete them or delete your account
  • Account data is deleted upon request

Your Rights

You can:

  • Delete your generated phrases at any time
  • Remove your published phrases from the community
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Opt out of analytics
  • Disable notifications

Children's Privacy

PhraseAI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
